London's Run 2010

As many of you are aware, I am a survivor of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I was diagnosed as a young child and given about a 20% chance of survival. I have tried to do a little something over the years to give back and this year, there is London's Run. It is a fundraising benefit in honor of a little girl named London who lost her battle with AML a few years ago.

I will be attending the run, taking pictures at the event and also donating a family session package for the raffle. It should be a great event and I am really looking forward to attending. If you are interested in signing up, go to http://www.londonsrun.org/ for more details!

We met this cutie patootie through soccer a couple years ago and were lucky enough to get him in our daughter's Kindergarten class this year. I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family at my daughter's school. She is a teacher there and happens to teach one of my best friend's sons. After rescheduling for weather, we lucked out and had the perfect day to shoot. It was a great location and a fabulous family. Little Justin even let me tease him a little....thanks for being a trooper big guy!

My OWN Family Pictures 2009

I am SO happy to say that I finally got some wall-worthy pictures of my own family this year! This is a feat considering I am not "behind" the camera and my kids are so used to the camera, they could puke! But, I am very excited with the results and will have a new wall of pictures in my living room this year! WOO HOO!

These are some AMAZING friends of ours that we have made since being in Arizona. They haven't had a family picture in years and I was so honored to do it for them. I had a specific location in mind and when I saw their outfits, new it would be PERFECT! It was a very windy day and we weren't sure that we were going to be able to do anything.
