Sedona, AZ

For my birthday last week, we took a weekend trip to Sedona, Arizona. What an amazingly beautiful place! Here are a few of my faves! I took a lot at this little place called Tlequepaque, it's a Mexican Village with shops and cafes that is absolutely gorgeous! I have been wanting pics like these for my walls in my house. I am definitely going back for a day trip of shooting!

Things that make my life easier....

Well, this is definitely something I use EVERY day and it has made my life way easier... at least when it's working the way I want it too ;)! These pictures are terrible, but I'm getting my new lens sometime tomorrow, so I will take before and afters for a comparison. Hopefully it will be night and day!

Macro Monday

Ok, so on the 2Peas, it was Macro Monday, so I thought I'd go through and pick out my favorite Macro ring shots from recent weddings. Some are better than others for obvious reasons, but I can't resist a nice ring shot!

Dear God.....

My sweet little five year old LOVES to say her prayers! At night, we have family prayers and then she always asks just one of us (me or daddy) to stay with her and help her say her own. She always asks God to bless her that she won't have bad dreams. For some reason, the porcupine in Bambi II scared her and she can't stop talking about it. Who knew a porcupine could ever do that?! I had to snap a shot!

A Little Blurb About Me...

Here are a few things about myself...I won't make you read 100....I'm too tired to write that many anyways ;)

1. I am the happiest I've ever been in my life

3. I have an amazing husband of almost seven years!

10. I thank God every day for sending them to me

11. They are so vivacious and full of life

12. I'm a survivor of childhood Leukemia

13. I was diagnosed at 10 years old

14. I was told I had less than 20% chance of surviving

15. I was told I may never have children

16. I thank my Savior and Heavenly Father for my life every day

17. My story has been published in a book called "Making Your Own Miracle"

18. It has given me the motivation to write my own story

19. Who knows if I'll ever try to publish it or just have it for myself and my family

20. I live in Arizona

21. I lived in Las Vegas my whole life until 6 months ago and I miss my family back home TERRIBLY!

22. I love it out here!

23. I live in the boonies!

24. I am (obviously) OBSESSED with photography

25. Especially my own children

26. I LOVE girlfriends! :)

Post Bathing Beauties

I wanted to take some shots of the girls on the bed! Well, they had just gotten out of the tub and the sun was perfect! They turned out too cute if I may say so myself! I love my funny girls! The one of them pouting is perfect......that is their "I-am-sick-of-mommy-taking-our-picture" pose!
