Out of town

I am heading out of town to watch my beautiful girls dance on the stage at Disneyland!! We are so excited but it's a girl's weekend, so we will be desperately missing our "men" back home. Sneak Peek: Oswald {Gilbert Family Photographer}

Talk about FUN! This beautiful family and I go WAY back! Yes, I am old enough to have babysat for BOTH mom and dad in Las Vegas, back in the day. These two and their families were in my family ward growing up and they ended up falling in love, having two gorgeous daughters and (lucky for me) moving to Mesa! It was such a fun time to get together and remember old times. Thank you Paige for letting me photograph your beautiful family, I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

I was lucky enough to be asked to participate in a holiday giveaway from WHIPPY CAKE, a local website that has amazing accessories. They were doing a few giveaways for people around the valley that could use a little pick-me-up. As soon as I heard about Wendy Wilson, I knew I wanted to do a shoot for her. She has breast cancer and it is something she is going to have to live with now for the rest of her life. She has had a long battle and is a remarkable woman. When I asked her what kind of session she would like to have, she said she would love to do a session with all her girlfriends. They have been a major support system for her and even through a benefit fundraiser to help her pay her chemotherapy bills. For the shoot they all donned their breast cancer color, hot pink and met up at their favorite Coffee Shop in Gilbert. It was a total blast and the women had a lot of laughs. Thank you SO much for the opportunity Wendy and I am blessed to have met and worked with such a wonderful woman!

that my NEW website will be launching VERY soon! I have worked hard to find my favorite pictures to showcase for all of you. When it launches, the address will take the place of the blog address.....jlphotographyaz.com. The blog address will go back to what it started out as.....bloggingwithjamielynn.blogspot.com. Please make changes if you have links to either and be on the lookout for a giveaway to celebrate the launch!
